Blind for Love in Gucci

One thing I love about Spring in London is that you can wear sweaters without a coat. This weather can be frustrating when you’re desperate to pull on new SS17 pieces but for me, I’m taking full advantage of the in-between weather by wearing my favorite knits. The statement sweater was a huge trend in FW16 and for most of us these amazing pieces spent the last six months hidden beneath winter layers so it’s fun to show them off in all their glory. Every major designer released their take on the trend but nobody pulled it off quite like Gucci. This gold, sequined sweater is a perfect example, Gucci didn’t make knitwear Gucci made artwork.

Statement sweaters are easy to wear as they are an outfit in themselves. Pair one with a straight leg jean and a great ankle boot and you’re ready to go. If it’s warmer where you are, wear a statement knit atop a summer dress or a denim skirt with white sneakers or an ankle boot.
