Velvet is my absolute favorite material during the fall and winter months. I wore a lot of black velvet last winter so this season I decided to brighten things up with some fun, bold colours. I’ve never been afraid to wear the same tone or even the same texture like this outfit.
They always say when you find something you love, buy it in every colour. This season, it’s been more of a buy everything from Masscob kind of year. Started in 2003 by husband and wife, Marga Massanet and Jacobo Cobain, Masscob has quickly become a cult favourite in the fashion circles. The brand offers a unique twist of 1970′ vintage meets current day trends with a focus on luxe fabrics and textures. It’s no surprise that my closet is stocked with their seasonal velvet dresses and two-piece suits. This much-loved Spanish brand delivers that unconventional yet stunning look I’m always after. Even when winter passes, you’ll definitely find me wearing this two-piece suit in the spring with a nude slingback heel and light colored blouse.
