Moda Operandi SS20 Trunkshow from LFW and PFW

After Fashion Week, comes Moda Operandi’s Trunkshows. Unlike most high-end online retailers, Moda Operandi is the only place you can shop directly from the runway with a multitude of designers at your fingertips. Pre-ordering during Moda Operandi’s trunkshows is really about selecting pieces that stores may not necessarily pick up. You can curate your own wardrobe as a buyer yourself directly from the Runway Collections. For this season’s Moda Operandi Trunkshows, I really focused on the collections that stood out to me during both London and Paris Fashion Week —- Magda Butrym, David Koma, Christopher Kane, JW Anderson, and Petrov. Most trunk shows end in just a few days. You just pre-order your favorites now, pay half as a deposit, the remainder upon arrival, and can return normally if needed as you do with other online retailers.

MAGDA BUTRYM

Ends October 16

During Paris Fashion Week, Magda Butrym was one of the brands I had to see. I always love my Polish designers. Her silhouettes are always sharp, striking, almost like art. You guys know I love my mini dresses — For Mood Operandi’s Magda Butrym SS20 Trunkshow, I included the best straight from Paris’ presentation + a few really sick suits to pre-order.

DAVID KOMA

Ends October 14

David has been a friend for years. His show is one that I always look forward to most during London Fashion Week. I always make sure to pre-order at least one or two pieces from his collection. His sexy tailoring and edge is always easy to spot — one of my favorites for events and dresses. For Moda Operandi’s David Koma SS20 Trunkshow, I focused on his signature black and white classics with a few modern additions.

CHRISTOPHER KANE

Ends October 14

Christopher Kane is another amazing friend who’s show is always one of my top personal favorites. His runway is always mega with a reoccurring theme of earth, wind, and ocean elements. The show as his collection is an experience. For Moda Operandi’s  Christopher Kane SS20 Trunkshow, I pulled all the designs that really sparked something for me on the runway.

JW ANDERSON

Ends October 15

JW Anderson is a London Fashion Week classic. For Moda Operandi’s JW Anderson SS20 Trunkshow, I pulled a few favorites from Lauren’s Closet, a great bag that caught eyes down the runway, and the “handkerchief” dress that had a lot of hype during the show.

PETAR PETROV

Ends October 13

More minimal, Petar Petrov is beautiful for those classic designs that are fluid and never restricting. Blazers are always a key investment I recommend during Moda Operandi’s Trunkshows. For Petar Petrov, I carefully picked a few dresses, a jacket, and the “it” item from his collection —The V-neck leather dress, very similar to my faux version I wore during London Fashion week.
