Self Portrait: Hits a Sweet Spot

Get one while you can! Self Portrait dresses never stay in stock for long, at a price point of around £230/$380 for a dress and each one looks and feels like it should be at least double, they honestly sell out within a week of going up a site. This was my first Self Portrait purchase from MatchesFashion.com and as soon as I tried it on, I knew that it wouldn’t be my last. Similar to a Carven dress I bought last year in black which still gets a lot of use, this dress in white, is perfect for all kinds of Summer soirees.

With a pretty white dress, why not wear the perfect white summer shoes by Aquazzura which are sold out everywhere except here. These shoes are everything!!! I bought them from the Aquazzura boutique in Florence and after many phone calls and emails which spanned over a month – they finally arrived and were worth the wait! They are called the ‘Wild Thing’ style and I am just totally wild about them.

I like to have fun with accessories, especially with sunglasses in the summertime. The aqua color and metallic snakeskin sides of these oversized Linda Farrow ones from Salt Resort Wear are like no other pair I own. The Salt Resort Wear boutique in London is my shopping destination for all warm holiday bits ie. swimsuits, sunglasses, kaftans and covers-ups they always have what I need for the sunshine.

And finally……have you heard about Sarah’s Bag? I hadn’t, until recently when I saw the Love Birds clutch that I found all her clutches to be colorful additions for summer. I love finding a new cool, handbag company as I’m finding many evening bags starting to get repetitive when I go out. I’m totally a culprit of it and realize that its nice to change it up with new brands and styles.
