Bank Holiday in the Cotswolds

The Cotswolds is one of our favorite English escapes. The kids love playing outdoors, Gregor and I get to relax. With fresh air and slower pace, it feels like you’re world’s away from the city when really it’s just a 1.5-hour drive from London. We’ve been to quite a few areas in the Cotswolds, but this time we loaded up in the Range Rover and headed to Southrop,  Kate Moss’ town, for a Bank Holiday weekend. It’s one of the most picturesque villages, with a small town feel–almost as if everyone knows everyone’s name.

This LoveShackFancy look fit in perfectly with the storybook setting. It’s one of my favorite brands for frolicking in the fields. With bohemian textures and lush fabrics, it’s like it was made for a weekend away in the countryside. I wore this top and skirt combo to one of our many meals at the Swan — the town’s local pub just steps away from our adorable family cottage. I’ve linked our trip details below if you want to experience this charming part of the countryside, along with some other favorite LoveShackFancy looks.
