What I wore: On the World

Late last year my husband and I travelled Southeast Asia aboard The World. The World is the largest private residential ship on the planet, 165 individual Homes sit on 644ft of ship that continuously circumnavigates the globe.

On this trip we woke up in a new exotic destination every few days so I had to pack outfits that I could wear on board the ship as well as on land. Stopping everywhere from a tiny rural village in Sabang to the metropolis of Singapore, flexibility and comfort were key in selecting outfits.

When you’re travelling as opposed to vacationing, it is important to wear clothes that you feel good in. You want to be able focus on what you’re experiencing, not what you’re wearing. This is even more important in Southeast Asia because the weather is hot and very humid so you need to be wearing pieces that will keep you cool and comfortable, allowing you to enjoy your amazing surroundings.

I’ve outlined everything I packed in my suitcase below so you can see how they work individually and with one another. Regardless of whether you’re going on your own adventure or looking for some summer inspiration there is something for every taste and occasion. Happy shopping!
