Art Spotlight: Maddox Gallery

Home decor and art didn’t come naturally to me like fashion, I have been learning as I go from city to city and home to home.  In London, I have found many of my new favorite artists at Maddox Gallery.  Recently, we acquired this colorful piece by Dan Baldwin from Maddox Gallery to put next to a vintage Chanel poster I bought 12 years ago at Art Source International in Boulder while visiting my brother in college at the University of Colorado, Boulder.  I like my art bold, vibrant and with a lot of personality – does one’s own art choices reflect their own qualities and mood?  Maybe quite so.

Maddox Gallery is definitely ones of the coolest contemporary art galleries in London hosting pieces like Bradley Theodore’s famous Karl & Anna paintings, which are on my Art Must-Have list, as well as David Yarrow’s The Good, The Bad and The Ass. You may recognize a few works by Mr. Brainwash aka Thierry Guetta, RETNA, Harland Miller, Michael Moebius (whose Queen with bubble gum is genius) and Jeff Koons.

The artwork is definitely worth seeing while you’re in London,  plus the outside is always creatively decorated with flowers — making it a definite stop for an Instagram shot.
