The Cotswolds is one of our favorite English escapes. The kids love playing outdoors, Gregor and I get to relax. With fresh air and a slower pace, it feels like you’re world’s away from the city when really it’s just a 1.5-hour drive from London. We’ve been to quite a few areas in the Cotswolds, but this time we loaded up the family, and our two furry Cavaliers, into our Range Rover Autobiography TDV6 in Silicon Silver Premium Metallic and head to Southrop, Kate Moss’ town, for a long Bank Holiday weekend away.
The journey out of town in a Range Rover Autobiography is the ultimate luxury preface to a British countryside adventure as the car smoothly ushers us out of town in total style and comfort. Georgina and Truman sit back and immediately settle into the plush Executive Class Reclining Rear Seats, while popping on their wireless Bose headphones to tune into a movie or Live Digital TV on 10″ Screens – they actually would prefer the journey to be longer. Gregor and I are just as happy up front, switching on the Massage feature for our seats while listening to tunes on the excellent Meridian Surround Sound System.
For us city folk the drive out of the hustle and bustle, is the beginning of our unwinding. We love a road trip and embrace the journey, stopping to pull over on the side of a field of sheep to see the animals up close and breathe the fresh air. Discovering new English countryside corners in our Range Rover Autobiography makes exploring this beautiful country all the more enjoyable in true British style.
