I’ve always been drawn to the style of the Wild West with fringe suede jackets, Aztec printed cardigans, Mexican ponchos, denim shirts and traditional Ralph Lauren pieces that make you want to live in Montana, trade your car in for a horse and dress ranch-chic every day. So when I saw Cara Delevingne walk down the Burberry AW14 catwalk last winter in a monogrammed blanket poncho, I knew that this was a trend I was getting my hands on. The Burberry Prorsum blanket poncho didn’t just catch my eye as it is just about sold out everywhere online except Bergdorfs. I may just have to put the new Burberry monogramming service to use and order one with my initials for my birthday.

In the mean time ,I have been wearing a lot of this brown Isabel Marant Idoa blanket vest, cape, jacket. This gem of a piece is extremely useful this season and seems to also be hard to find with only Barney’s NY having it in stock. My Maje boots have gotten a lot of wear over the last couple years and only look better as they get older, they go with everything, similar to the Isabel Marant dicker boot, what cant you love?  And to keep the look loose I accessorized with a Celine saddle bag and a mini fedora which I bought at Galeries Lafayette in Paris.
